‘To capture the exact moment an autumn leaf, in the midst of decay, gently touches the ground’.
20-gauge stainless steel was hand-shaped and plasma-cut, while areas not plasma-cut were detailed using a gravizer pen.
The stainless steel’s top layer is removed, allowing natural oxidation to gradually transform the surface over six months into a deep
bronze shade, evoking the colours of an autumn leaf.
